Restore Your Smile with Affordable Dental Implant Services
Dental implants provide a strong foundation for replacement teeth that will look, feel and function just like your original, natural teeth. We can place them individually, replace several teeth or use implants as the foundation of a new bridge.
Dental implants are actually tiny titanium posts embedded into your jaw bone and then capped with a dental crown or dentures. This is a two-phase process that requires a healing period after the initial planting of the titanium dental implants. After the healing period, you will visit Coastal Periodontics for the insertion of your crowns or dentures.
After your initial evaluation, Dr. Tredinick will discuss the likely success of implants and the procedure that will work best for you. During your consultation, we welcome your questions about our dental implant services and the best option for your long-term health. When you are fully informed and comfortable with moving forward, we will then prepare you for a successful procedure.
We make it easy to afford the best treatment available. To assist with the cost of dental implant services, we accept multiple insurance plans as well as offer payment options and senior discounts.
Individual Implants
if you’ve suffered an injury causing the loss of a tooth or have lost a tooth due to gum disease or tooth decay, we can place individual dental implants. During this procedure, Dr. Tredinick will insert individual implants in the appropriate areas where teeth are missing.
After ensuring the implants have appropriately healed, Dr. Tredinick will cap the implants with a dental crown molded from your original teeth or will insert your dentures.
Implant-Supported Bridges
You may need several teeth in a row to be replaced. With a procedure similar to the individual implant placement, Dr. Tredinick will embed several implants to support a dental bridge. A dental bridge joins artificial teeth to adjacent natural teeth or implants to cover holes in your smile where multiple teeth are missing.
The two-step process is the same as for the individual implant. Your implants are placed, and then after the healing period, your new teeth will be inserted onto your implants.
Implant-Supported Dentures
In the past, dentures have been known to cause gum pain or to slip or move during chewing. Because of this, some patients with dentures have had to adjust their eating habits and their diets.
You don’t have to deal with pain while chewing anymore. You can again eat your favorite foods by replacing your dentures with implant-supported dentures.
During this process, Dr. Tredinick carefully places several implants. Afterwards, your dentures will merely snap on using special attachments, and they will not cause pain or slip when chewing. This increases your chewing power and comfort, while giving you a beautiful smile.
